Even though this blog is in a different language the images are inspiring and I want to do some images like them. http://photorat.pblogs.gr/2012/01/levitation-photography-aiwroymenh-fwtografia.html
Levitation is something that is awe amazing when it comes to photographey. It is something that I have always wanted to do with my work. I think that it would be amazing to achieve for me.
Composites are an ever learning process. There is just something about doing them that you constantly learn from. I have done a fair share of them. In each one I continue to get better and better. I have to say it is about the practice when it comes to the composites. It is easy to destroy the image. Adding in can make it or break it. For this image, I had a look I was going for then I lost the look I was going for. I then had to come up with something else and started brain storming again on what I wanted to achieve with the composite, with this precious curious child. I then found it. This image compiled together speaks so many things of his for curiousness.
This is going to be the first post of before and after. This post belongs with the previous beverage post. I am still reeling about how well that shoot went. I cannot wait for the feedback that I will recieve on those images. I had the idea of what I wanted to do for the images, then I went hunting on Pinterest for a little more push for inspiration. Upon scrolling through the massive amounts of pins, I found what I wanted.
For my assignment I had to recreate a piece of work on one of the artists that I was researching. The photographer that I picked was Abelardo Morell. The image was Dictionary 1994. The book above is a dictionary that I own that was given to me by my grandfather. I have had it for many years. This book holds personal value to me. It was such a challange trying to recreate this image. I know that I was not even close.
Abelardo Morell is a new inspiration to me, I am in absloutly in love with his book series. I want to do more with books. I have yet the heart to destroy my personal books for any projects, so I must go and buy some second hand. If you would like to view his work this is his site: http://www.abelardomorell.net/posts/books/
You will be SERIOUSLY impressed! He is an amazing photographer.
This is an image that I took for my final in Portraiture. I have to say that I actually enjoyed that class. With this image I used christmas lights behind the white background. I also went with a different editing style than my normal. It came out pretty well. My little model is not the biggest fan of sitting still long enough for me to get a good session in, however I can mangage to get something here and there. This is one of my favorites of Mr. Max.
